We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Barber to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service and a minimum experience as a barber of 5 years on the shop floor. As a Senior Barber, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring clients leave satisfied with their experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, and styling tailored to individual client preferences
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Offer personalised advice on hair care and styling options to clients
- Assist in training and mentoring junior barbers to uphold service standards
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and maximise client satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair styling and barbering
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barber, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating technical skill and creativity
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring clients feel valued and satisfied with their grooming experience
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques suitable for all hair types
- Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is desirable but not essential
- Valid barbering licence or certification recognised within the UK is preferred
