We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and creative Early Stages Performing Arts Teacher to lead our 4–6-year-old classes on Saturdays. Teaching drama, singing, and movement, you will ignite a love for the performing arts through exciting, structured, and engaging lessons that build confidence, creativity, and imagination.
This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and can create a fun, nurturing, and high-energy environment where every child feels encouraged to learn, perform, and shine.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured, age-appropriate lessons in drama, singing, and movement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and entertaining learning environment that keeps young children engaged.
- Inspire confidence, creativity, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the performing arts.
- Prepare children for showcases and performances.
- Monitor progress and provide positive feedback to children and parents.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding performing arts experiences.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and supportive classroom.
About You
- Experience working with children aged 4–6 in performing arts, education, or Early Years.
- Background in Performing Arts, Musical Theatre, Drama, Dance, Music, or Early Childhood Education.
- Able to plan dynamic, engaging lessons with excellent pace and classroom management.
- Enthusiastic, patient, creative, and confident leading groups of young children.
- Knowledge or experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable.
