Envirocare is a commercial grounds maintenance company that is looking to recruit grounds maintenance Team Leaders and Operatives to work on a full time permanent basis. Based at our new Retford depot, applicants will be required to service commercial grounds maintenance contracts using a range of different tasks.
Duties include:
- Grass Cutting and Lawn Maintenance
- Landscape Maintenance
- Hedge, Shrub and Small Tree Pruning
- Planting and Maintenance of Flowers, Trees, Shrubs and Beds
- Litter picking
- Application of herbicides, fungicides or insecticides
- Winter services – gritting and snow clearance
Successful applicants will be responsible for weekly rotas’, time management and supervision of other operative's. They will need to ensure all works are carried out on time and to specification. Applicants will also need the ability to work on their own initiative covering scheduled works in and around Lancashire, with a readiness to work to deadlines and complete works to the required quality standards.
Qualifications and Licences
Experience minimum of two years
Supervisory experience
Full driving licence
PA1 and PA6 NPTC Spraying licence - Desirable
Your usual hours of work during the season (March to October) will be Monday to Friday 6.30am till 4.00pm (8.5 hours per day start and finish time may be adjusted), and Monday to Friday 8.00am till 4.00pm (7 hours) out of season.
