Duties
- Deliver compassionate personal care to residents, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Supervise the night team, promoting best practices and maintaining high standards of care
- Develop, review, and update individual care plans for residents
- Ensure effective communication with residents, families, and team members to promote transparency and trust
- Support residents with medication management
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, incidents, and observations
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a care home
- Supervising or leadership experience within a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of care planning processes
- Competence in using IT systems for documentation and record-keeping
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations
