As a Retail Manager, you will step out from behind the desk and onto the shop floor to act as a visionary leader for your store. You will take full operational and commercial ownership of your assigned department, driving high standards, supporting team performance, and ensuring a seamless, high-energy environment for customers every single day.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, your main objective is to deliver outstanding operational performance, maintain excellent product availability and visual standards, and coach your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing day-to-day:
Drive Commercial Performance: Take ownership of department sales targets, inventory control, waste management, and labour allocation to maximize profitability.
Maintain High Visual Standards: Lead sales floor setup and visual merchandising, ensuring products are showcased to drive customer engagement.
Lead and Develop People: Inspire, coach, and support the ongoing development of department supervisors, sales assistants, and team members.
Ensure Operational Compliance: Maintain top-tier safety standards, store policies, and regulatory compliance across all assigned areas.
Elevate Customer Experience: Build a welcoming store atmosphere by encouraging your team to proactively engage with customers and resolve inquiries efficiently.
