Sanremo Italian Restaurant in Bath is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Baker / Bread Maker to join our team.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about traditional baking and can produce high-quality fresh bread daily to support our authentic Italian menu.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of fresh breads, including Italian breads, focaccia, pizza dough, and other bakery products.
Mix, knead, proof, and bake dough to consistently high standards.
Monitor baking times and ensure excellent product quality and presentation.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic bakery and kitchen environment.
Manage ingredient stock and minimise waste.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure fresh products are available throughout service.
Requirements
Previous experience as a baker or bread maker.
Knowledge of bread fermentation, dough preparation, and baking techniques.
Ability to work early morning shifts and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team.
Food hygiene certification is an advantage.
