We are looking for a confident Clinical Neuropsychologist with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 24 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Woodrow House.
As a Clinical Neuropsychologist you will be responsible for the vision, planning and service development of the psychology service ensuring the systematic provision of a high quality specialist Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology service to service users at Cygnet Woodrowe House.
Your Day-to-Day...
Working closely with the wider Neuropsychiatric MDT staff at Cygnet Woodrowe House to provide innovative psychological thinking, perspective taking and clinical decision making.
Completing and delivering complex psychological and neuropsychological assessments, formulations and intervention plans, carry their own caseload, co-ordinate joint MDT assessment and co-working where appropriate.
Teaching and supporting care staff and contribute to their Continued Professional Development.
Leading on the service in collecting and evaluating of outcome measures.
Working autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice.
Developing audit, outcome measurement and analysis of key performance indicators for the Neuropsychology service at Cygnet Woodrowe House. To regularly and actively manage performance against targets for Neuropsychology.
Ensuring systems are in place for the clinical supervision and support for Assistant Psychologists working into the neuropsychology service and reflective practice for all staff as appropriate.
As a HCPC Registered Psychologist, you will have a pivotal role in the training and clinical supervision of Assistant Psychologists and the APDP programme provided by Cygnet.
We are looking for someone who is...
A HCPC registered Clinical/Neuro Psychologist
Able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Experience in the delivery of trauma informed care
Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
Capable of working with difficulties such as physical & verbal aggression, history of offending, drug and alcohol problems and self-harm
The person must have up to date knowledge around various different psychological models applicable to this clinical population, and various models of team working for neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioural rehabilitation.
