Duchy College Prep is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an After School Care Assistant to join our thriving After School Care provision from September 2026.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable individual who enjoys working with children and is passionate about providing high-quality after school childcare in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
Our After School Care provision supports children aged 4–11 years and runs from 4.00pm to 6.00pm during term time. We are looking for an additional team member to provide support on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons.
Working alongside our friendly and supportive team, you will help create an environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to have fun.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the smooth running of our After School Care provision
- Creating a fun, welcoming and stimulating environment for children aged 4–11
- Supporting children’s wellbeing through play, social activities and structured activities
- Encouraging positive relationships and good behaviour
- Helping to ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for
- Working collaboratively as part of a friendly and dedicated team
