Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Test Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
Duties
- Conduct system testing to ensure software applications meet specified requirements and function as intended.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Utilise tools such as LoadRunner for performance testing and Jenkins for continuous integration.
- Perform regression testing to verify that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Execute PL/SQL scripts for database testing and validation.
- Participate in release management activities, ensuring that all testing is completed prior to deployment.
- Document test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution.
- Assist in the development of automated test scripts where applicable, particularly using JSP technologies.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in software testing within a professional environment.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of system testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with business requirements analysis and translating them into actionable test cases.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as LoadRunner and Jenkins.
- A background in software development is beneficial but not essential.
