9 Mill Street Restaurant and Bar, a popular and vibrant establishment in Nantwich, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our patrons through your exceptional cocktail-making skills and friendly demeanour.
Responsibilities
1.Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner as they enter the restaurant.
2.Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and informing them of specials or promotions.
3.Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, making not of any special requests or dietary requirements.
4.Enter orders into the POS system and ensure they are transmitted accurately to the bar/kitchen.
5.Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, using proper serving techniques and adhering to presentation standards.
6.Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
7.Anticipate the needs of guests and provide additional items such as condiments, utensils, or refills as needed.
8.Monitor tables for cues indicating that guests have finished their meal and promptly clear plates and utensils.
9.Process payments accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and electronic transactions with care.
10. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
11. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in assigned work areas, including dining tables, service stations, and beverage stations.
12. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food, beverages and equipment.
13. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas, cleaning and restocking supplies.
14. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements
1.Previous experience working within a restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
2.Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
3.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and co-workers.
4.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
5.Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments.
6.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
7.Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and etiquette.
