Graduate / Engineering Site-Based Plant Drawing Project– 6-Month Contract

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated postgraduate or engineering graduate to join our site team for approximately six months. The successful candidate will work closely with our third-party engineering contractor and existing site personnel to support the review and updating of plant drawings and associated engineering documentation.
This is a practical, site-based opportunity suited to someone with an engineering background who is looking to gain valuable experience working within an operational plant environment and alongside experienced engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on site alongside the third-party contractor and site personnel.
- Assist with the review and updating of existing plant drawings and engineering documentation.
- Support the identification of discrepancies between drawings and the physical plant.
- Assist with site surveys and verification of equipment, pipework, structures and other plant items.
- Record and communicate drawing changes accurately.
- Maintain clear and organised records.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with site safety procedures and requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Ideally, we are looking for someone with a postgraduate qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline; however, this is not essential, and candidates with relevant engineering, technical or practical experience will also be considered.
- An interest in engineering drawings, plant layouts and technical documentation.
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- The ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The confidence to work alongside contractors and experienced site personnel.
- A willingness to work in an operational site environment.
- Good IT and document-management skills.
