Assistant Site Manager – Social Housing Refurbishment
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Location: Norwich and surrounding areas
Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join their team, assisting with the management delivering high-quality internal and external refurbishment works within occupied and void social housing properties.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in assistant site management, with proven experience delivering refurbishment programmes safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations from start to completion.
- Oversee internal and external refurbishment works within occupied and void social housing properties.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers.
- Monitor programme progress, quality and workmanship standards.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Complete site inspections, audits and project reporting.
- Manage health and safety requirements, including risk assessments and compliance checks.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, residents, subcontractors and project teams.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
Essential Experience
- A current CSCS card
- A current SMSTS certificate
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- An NVQ Level 3 qualification or above in construction, building or a related discipline
- Full UK driving licence.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
- Additional construction management qualifications.
- Experience delivering social housing refurbishment programmes.
