We are a small, close-knit team with a strong reputation built on quality products and excellent customer relationships. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a capable and experienced Office employee to join us and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of our operations. You will be responsible for keeping the business running smoothly, handling everything from accounts and administration to customer and supplier communication. You'll need to be comfortable working independently and using your initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day accounts using QuickBooks, including invoicing, purchase orders, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Handling all customer enquiries, orders, and aftersales communication professionally and efficiently
- Managing supplier relationships, placing orders
- Overseeing general office administration, correspondence, and filing
- Supporting import/export administration including customs documentation
- Assisting with VAT returns and liaising with external accountants
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar all-round office or business management role
- Confident communicator with customers and suppliers
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
- A trustworthy, discreet, and professional approach — you will have access to sensitive business and financial information
