Pharmacy Manager
Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 6:30pm | Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and professional Pharmacy Manager to lead a fully staffed team including a pharmacy technician, and Accuracy Checking Dispenser (ACD). This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking pharmacist with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service and care to the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the pharmacy to ensure full compliance with GPhC, NHS, and company standards.
- Effectively manage a well-established team to ensure daily workload is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Maintain and improve standards of customer service, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
- Use Titan PMR software to manage workflow (prior experience is preferable).
- Ensure the pharmacy consistently meets or exceeds business and clinical targets.
- Deliver and grow NHS and private services, including NMS, CPCS, flu vaccinations, and other enhanced services.
- Take an active role in staff training, mentoring the pre-reg, and supporting professional development across the team.
- Be open and committed to training in and delivering additional services, including advanced and future clinical services.
- Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification is preferred but not essential.
Requirements:
- GPhC-registered pharmacist in good standing.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Proactive, efficient, and confident in managing a team and making decisions.
- Commitment to excellent patient care and service.
- Willingness to train and grow with the role.
Desirable:
- Previous experience using Titan PMR.
- Independent Prescriber (IP).
- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role.
