Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor, ensuring displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Proficient in using technology, including point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
