This job opportunity is for a Grounds Maintenance Operative in the Bexhill area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding.
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Use hand tools and power tools to build and maintain landscape features.
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment such as lawn mowers and strimmers.
- Keep outdoor areas clean and free of debris.
- Role is based across Birmingham/West Midlands, primarily in the B, WS & WV postcode areas.
Requirements:
- Full manual UK driving licence held for one year or more is mandatory.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance is preferred.
- A spray licence is preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely, training can be provided.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Pay: £13.20 an hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri
Working hours: 6.30am to 3pm
