Key Responsibilities

Oversees weekly rotas and daily staffing schedules. Ensures correct coverage for business levels, events and operational needs.

Manages timesheets accuracy, attendance records and payroll submissions.

Maintains record of team holiday allowances, approves requests in line with operational requirements. Ensures fair and transparent leave planning across the department.

Orders cleaning chemicals and guest supplies as required. Maintains accurate stock levels and maintains accurate stock levels and monitors usage trends.

Supports Housekeeping Manager in selecting, interviewing and selecting new members of team.

Delivers structured onboarding for new team members.

Coordinates delivery of departmental training plans.

Ensures training on SOPs, safety, standards and departmental culture.

Supports deep cleaning programmers and departmental projects.

Represents Housekeeping in daily and weekly operational briefings and meetings.

Communicates priorities and room status updates.

Reports and follows maintenance issues.

Handles escalated guests concerns, room discrepancies and operational challenges.

Implements corrective actions and ensures follow-ups.

Supports in daily rooms and public area allocation and inspections.

Promotes a positive, inclusive and high performance team culture.

Provides coaching, feedback and ongoing development support.

Ensures adherence to Forbes, LQA and AA standards.

Supports compliance with H&S, COSHH and hotel policies
