About the Role
The Foundation Centre, within the Faculty of Education, supports students preparing for degree-level study through a range of programmes, including integrated foundation courses, language modules, summer schools and equivalency provision. Our language portfolio currently includes French, Spanish, German and Italian.
We are seeking to appoint a German Tutor and an Italian Tutor to join us for the 2026/27 academic year. Applications are welcomed from candidates who can teach either language or both.
You will deliver engaging undergraduate language modules at our Ormskirk campus. Teaching takes place on Thursday afternoons for two hours between 1.00 pm and 6.00 pm, and availability during this period is essential. Successful candidates will join our Associate Tutor bank, with teaching hours allocated according to student enrolments.
As part of a collaborative team, you will inspire students through high-quality teaching, excellent subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to redeployment, please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any stage of the recruitment process if a suitable redeployee is identified.
