The Support Manager is responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of complex hardware and systems projects within a managed support environment. The role coordinates engineering activities, monitors project performance, manages budgets, and ensures delivery in accordance with military and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities in this role include:

Support the creation and maintenance of project schedules, work packages, and resource plans using MS Project or similar planning tools

Monitor project progress and support delivery against agreed milestones and objectives

Proactively identify project risks, issues, and bottlenecks and implement appropriate mitigation actions

Support manufacturing and engineering activities to ensure projects remain on schedule
-
Assist with project cost tracking, budget management, and revenue forecasting against contractual baselines
-
Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to support successful project delivery

Produce project performance dashboards, KPIs, and status reports for senior stakeholders and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)

Ensure compliance with relevant military, regulatory, and contractual requirements

Technical background with an understanding of hardware and systems delivery

Experience working within a manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or other highly regulated engineering environment

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Experience monitoring project schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics
Technical Skills/Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a STEM-related discipline

Knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools, such as MS Project

Ability to manage project budgets, risks, and reporting activities
