Join the Team at Fasque Castle
Nestled in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside, near Fettercairn, Fasque Castle is one of Scotland's most prestigious exclusive-use venues. Surrounded by beautiful parkland and steeped in history, the castle hosts luxury weddings, corporate retreats, private celebrations and bespoke events throughout the year. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences for every guest.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Wedding & Events Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role
As an Wedding & Events Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across a diverse range of exclusive-use events. Working closely with our Event Manager and wider operational team, you'll help coordinate the smooth delivery of weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and bespoke occasions from enquiry through to event delivery.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines event coordination with operational leadership. You'll support the planning and execution of events while deputising for the Event Manager when required and undertaking Duty Manager responsibilities to ensure events are delivered professionally and to the highest standards.
This position is contracted at 40 hours per week.
As our events predominantly take place during evenings and weekends, the successful candidate will be expected to work a regular pattern of evening, weekend and occasional bank holiday shifts. On non-event days, working hours will typically be 9:00am to 5:00pm, providing dedicated time for event planning, administration and client liaison. Flexibility is essential, as working hours will vary depending on the event calendar, although rotas are planned in advance wherever possible to support a healthy work-life balance.

- Monitor and manage Health & Safety and licensing regulations throughout events.
- Respond confidently and professionally to guest requests, complaints and operational issues.
- Support emergency procedures and act as the responsible Duty Manager during allocated shifts.
- Maintain accurate event records and assist with administrative tasks as required.
- Build positive relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues to deliver memorable guest experiences.
