Summary
We are seeking a skilled PPC Painter to join our team at our Skelmersdale facility. In this role, you will contribute to the finishing and painting of architectural components, ensuring they meet our quality standards and client specifications. This position plays a vital part in supporting our mission to provide safe and reliable building solutions.
Our hours are 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri with overtime sometimes available mid-week and Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding
- Apply Powder to the relevant materials being worked on
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Assist in the development of painting techniques to improve efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a painter in construction or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to operate spray guns
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for manual tasks.
