Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the delivery of reactive, planned and minor works across a multi-site facilities management contract.
The role will involve attending client sites, carrying out building fabric repairs, painting and decorating works, general maintenance tasks, identifying defects, completing repairs, recording works accurately and ensuring all tasks are completed safely, professionally and to the required standard.
Due to the nature of some client environments, successful applicants will be required to complete background checks and follow site-specific access procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend multiple client sites across Scotland as required.
- Carry out general reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Complete painting and decorating works, including surface preparation, making good and finishing.
- Undertake repairs to walls, ceilings, doors, flooring and other building fabric elements.
- Carry out basic joinery, flooring, plumbing and general maintenance tasks.
- Identify defects and report any additional works required.
- Complete job sheets, photographic records and site documentation accurately.
- Obtain site sign-off where required.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work in line with RAMS, permits and client site rules.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, materials and vehicles.
- Represent the company professionally while on client sites.
- Support out-of-hours or emergency works where required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building fabric maintenance, painting and decorating, construction, joinery, flooring or general building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork and digital job records accurately.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across Scotland and stay away from home when required.
- Ability to pass background checks where required.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
