Temporary Production Operative - Cutting

Ideally, the right candidate will be extremely organised, confident, have great attention to detail and always be willing to go the extra mile!
The right person should be able to cope under pressure, handle high volumes of work and be able to work under their own initiative. A flexible approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines are also required. This role is a temporary role which could lead to a permanent position.
Duties will include:
- Provide support to the cutting team.
- Utilise computer-controlled routers and engravers (Gravograph and Xenetech)
- Ensure that Health and Safety is always maintained.
The right person for this role, must:
- Have a ‘can do attitude’ and a willingness to learn.
- Be confident using IT
- Have a keen eye for colour and detail.
- Be able to meet deadlines set by the Production Supervisors and Manufacturing
Manager
- Able to communicate to other members of the team effectively.
- Be able to demonstrate dexterity in a fast-moving environment.
- Ensure quality consistency, productivity and delivery levels are met.
Working hours:
36.5 Hours
6:00am-2:00pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6:00pm- 1:00pm with two 15 minutes unpaid break each day.
Salary: £12.72 per hour
