Job Overview
We are seeking an HGV Class 2 driver with at least 3 years experience on skip, RORO hook loaders and dustcarts to join our team. Candidate must be hard working and honest, reliability and flexibility is essential. Must have a good command of the English language. Job involves very early starts, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. - Monday - Friday plus one Saturday per month
Performance Based Bonus
Duties
- Delivering and collecting skips and or roll on off skips
- Occasional dustcart rounds
- Load and unload skips, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Communicate with office staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Skip and Roll on Off driver.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Must be willing to start very early
- Must be flexible
