The Garden Café at Glendoick Garden Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic part-time barista to join our front of house team. No experience is required as training will be given, but you should be of a cheerful nature, enjoy interacting with customers and be committed to providing excellent customer service. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Responsibilities
- Grinding and brewing coffee
- Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee
- Consistently providing well-crafted beverages
- Taking client orders and receiving payment
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar
- Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items, if needed
- Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
- Contributing to a positive work environment
The role is 24 hours a week over 4 days, but start/finish times and working days can be flexible, although weekend working on a rota basis will be required. There are NO evening shifts.
Pay rates are in accordance with national living wage for under 21s and £12.75 per hour for those aged 21 and over.

Due to our location and no public transport, applicants must have a drivers licence and have access to their own vehicle.
