About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR & Administration Assistant to join our firm as a core member of the Business Services team. The role will suit someone who wishes to develop their knowledge and experience of the human resources function whilst fulfilling a broad range of tasks, duties and responsibilities in support of the firm as a whole. The role is fully office-based.
Key responsibilities
· Involvement in recruitment, onboarding and induction of new joiners
· Support for training, learning and development programmes
· Support for appraisal and performance management processes
· Support for compliance with regulatory requirements
· Maintaining staff records for payroll, holiday entitlement and absence management
· Administration of the firm’s employee benefits programme
· Support for communication and publication of policies and procedures
· Planning and organising social events and activities
· Providing cover as required for Business Services colleagues
· Other miscellaneous tasks as required by the firm
About you
You’ll have:
· Several years’ experience in relevant administrative roles
· Ability to adapt to the culture and working environment in a law firm
· Aptitude for learning new skills and mastering software packages relevant to the role

· A team player who will help and support colleagues and the wider firm
· Flexible and adaptable, with a positive “can do and will do” attitude to work
· Able to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
· Professional, trustworthy and discreet
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
