At SEPHORA UK, beauty isn’t just what we sell - it’s who we are. It’s the freedom to express yourself, the thrill of discovering something new, and the power of belonging to a community that celebrates every identity. From our beginnings in France in 1969 to becoming part of the LVMH family, we’ve always pushed boundaries through creativity, innovation, and inclusivity.
Today, with nearly 500 iconic brands and our own SEPHORA Collection, we’re redefining the future of prestige beauty as we continue our bold expansion across the UK. If you’re ready to bring passion, energy, and a love for immersive retail experiences to one of the world’s most dynamic beauty markets, this is your moment to shape what comes next.
The Opportunity
As a Retail Operations Manager at SEPHORA UK, you'll help shape smooth, consistent and scalable operations across a designated region of stores. Acting as a trusted partner to our Store Managers, you'll turn operational priorities into clear actions, ensure our tools and ways of working land effectively, and help every store deliver the seamless experience our customers expect.
Combining strong retail expertise with a hands-on, solution-focused approach, you'll support stores day to day while contributing to national projects and new store openings. You'll connect our field and head office teams, champion continuous improvement and bring the insight we need to strengthen operations as SEPHORA continues its bold expansion across the UK.
What you’ll be doing…
You'll support regional store performance and help bring our national retail operations priorities to life, including:
-
Acting as the first point of contact for a defined region of stores or operational topics, providing practical support, troubleshooting and guidance.
-
Ensuring national SOPs, policies and procedures are communicated clearly, adopted consistently and continuously improved.
-
Partnering closely with Store Managers to identify operational challenges, escalate issues and drive timely solutions.
-
Supporting day-to-day store operations, including stockroom processes, compliance, safety routines and operational standards.
-
Monitoring field performance, identifying regional trends and sharing best practice to strengthen consistency across stores.
-
Supporting the Senior Operations Manager with new store openings, from pre-opening plans and team briefings to operational set-up and go-live support.
-
Coordinating deliveries, equipment and training materials so stores are fully prepared and operational for opening day.
-
Supporting the rollout, testing and adoption of retail tools and omni-channel systems, including S1, mobile POS and Click & Collect, while gathering store feedback to improve usability and integration.
-
Helping stores navigate vendor relationships, including cleaning and security, and supporting issue resolution in partnership with the Senior Operations Manager.
-
Ensuring stores follow the correct processes for ordering supplies and managing budgets, flagging variances, risks or inefficiencies.
-
Supporting the development and delivery of operational training, guidance and materials for store teams.
-
Communicating operational updates and changes clearly, ensuring stores understand what is changing and what it means for them.
-
Conducting regular store visits to assess standards, coach teams, gather feedback and report on operational KPIs, risks and opportunities for improvement.
What you’ll bring…
You'll be a highly organised, action-oriented retail operator who builds trusted relationships and enjoys turning challenges into practical solutions. You will also bring:
-
Experience working in a multi-site retail environment, ideally within beauty, fashion or lifestyle.
-
A strong understanding of store operations, stock processes, customer experience, compliance and safety.
-
A proven ability to build relationships and influence effectively across store and head office teams.
-
Experience supporting new store openings or delivering operational projects would be an advantage.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make operational updates clear, relevant and easy to action.
-
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
-
Confidence using retail tools and systems, with the ability to learn and help others adopt new digital platforms.
-
Willingness to travel regularly.
