Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and sanitize high-touch areas to promote hygiene and safety
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times to maintain compliance with health standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing cleaning tools and supplies after each shift
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
Experience
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with reliable punctuality and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is a plus
