Duties
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and wallpapers with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other tools efficiently to achieve smooth, even finishes.
- Interpret project specifications and communicate effectively with clients and team members to meet expectations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety regulations at all times.
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport supplies or move between job sites safely.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan work schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting, decorating, or related trades is essential.
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and decorative finishes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear instructions and customer interactions.
- Valid driving license with reliable driving skills to navigate between multiple job sites confidently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols relevant to construction and decorating work is preferred.
