Stephen Sanderson Transport Ltd is looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative who holds a valid Counterbalance licence, to join our growing team across our Corby site on Causeway Road. This is a hands‑on, varied role supporting the smooth flow of inbound and outbound freight within a busy, safety‑critical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Handball, re-work, pick and pack orders is a large part of the role
- Operate forklifts and company equipment safely and in line with procedures
- Safely and efficiently load and tip inbound and outbound vehicles
- Receive and reconcile in‑house deliveries
- Quality check stock and allocate to correct warehouse locations
- Report any incidents involving people, property, or stock to your Team Leader
- Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping across warehouse and yard areas
- Provide cover across multiple local sites during holidays or sickness
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and freight handling protocols
Requirements
- Valid or previous forklift licence/Flexi forklift licence
- Experience working in a Warehouse environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Positive, proactive “can‑do” attitude
- Ability to use initiative and work reliably
Shifts & Pay
- Permanent, full‑time position – minimum 45 hours per week
- Shift available: 06:00–16:00
- Annual pay between £30,000–£33,000, including weekly bonus
Additional Information
All successful applicants will be required to take a Drug & Alcohol test on their first day as part of the induction process. A negative result is required to commence employment. This is due to the safety‑critical nature of the role and is conducted in accordance with company policy and data protection legislation.
