Purpose of Role
VINCI Facilities are looking for a qualified Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a growing team supporting a national EV charging infrastructure contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys working independently across a regional patch and wants to develop specialist skills within the rapidly expanding electric vehicle sector.
Full product and manufacturer training will be provided, making this role ideal for electricians from commercial, industrial, building services or facilities management backgrounds.
Job Description
You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical assets across a portfolio of customer sites throughout the South West, South Wales and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and repair of electrical systems
- Maintenance and repair of commercial EV charging equipment
- Inspection, testing and diagnosis of electrical faults
- Responding to emergency call-outs when required
- Completing minor building fabric repairs where necessary
- Delivering excellent customer service on site
Essential Qualifications/Skills
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds electrical qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong electrical maintenance experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently across a mobile patch
Desirable:
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Commercial or industrial electrical background
- Previous mobile engineering experience
