Nursery Cleaner – North Rode, Cheshire
Location: North Rode, Cheshire
Hours: 4 hours per week
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30am–1:30pm
Pay: £13.00–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hard-working Nursery Cleaner to join our growing, well-established local cleaning company.
This role is based at a nursery in North Rode, Cheshire and would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has a great eye for detail and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for children and staff.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties within a nursery setting, ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy and presentable.
This role will involve working independently, so you must be able to manage your time well, follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks to a high standard without close supervision.
Main Responsibilities
- Carrying out general cleaning duties within a nursery environment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Cleaning toilets, floors, surfaces, communal areas and other required spaces
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- Following site-specific cleaning instructions and schedules
- Communicating professionally with nursery staff when required
- Reporting any issues, damage or concerns promptly
About You
- The ideal applicant will:
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Have good attention to detail
- Be able to work independently
- Have good communication skills
- Understand basic health and safety requirements
- Ideally have previous cleaning experience
- Ideally have knowledge of COSHH and safe cleaning practices
- Training will be provided where required, so we are happy to consider applicants who have the right attitude and are willing to learn.
Requirements
- Ability to travel to the nursery in North Rode, Cheshire
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle preferred due to the location
