Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Scaffold Labourer to join our construction team.
We have training in place for successful candidates, they will assist in the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of scaffolding structures on various sites.
This role requires a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Prior experience in construction-related trades is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
All positions are paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within the construction industry.
Pay will depend on experience.
Driving licence or transport to get to the above yard address for 7am every morning is necessary.
Duties
- Assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project specifications
- Handle and transport materials and equipment required for scaffold installation
- Use hand tools and power tools to secure scaffold components effectively
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency on site
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during all tasks
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up activities post-completion of scaffold work
Experience
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Experience with working at heights is an advantage
- Ability to read simple drawings or instructions is beneficial
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks over extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to safety protocols
