Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Servicing and repairing vehicles, including brakes, tyres, suspension, and general maintenance
- Conducting sales preps, cambelt replacements, and minor diagnostics
- Providing high-quality workmanship within a busy workshop environment
- Working on both cars and light commercial vehicles (note: no MOTs are carried out here)
- Maintaining a professional and efficient workflow to meet customer standards and deadlines
- Adhering to health and safety policies and workshop procedures
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in servicing, brake repairs, tyre work, suspension, and sales preps
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and a motivated work ethic
- Vehicle Technicians with extensive experience but no formal qualifications will also be considered
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
