We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Family Group Worker to join our Family Help Service. Working across our Family Hub locations, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality activities and support for children aged 0-5 and their families, helping to improve outcomes and ensure every child gets the best possible start in life

About the role
- Plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 0-5 and their families.
- Provide high-quality crèche provision that supports children's physical, emotional, social and language development.
- Encourage parent and carer participation to promote strong attachment and family relationships.
- Monitor children's development and contribute to recording progress and outcomes.
- Support vulnerable families and signpost them to appropriate services.
- Help maintain safe, welcoming and inclusive Family Hub environments.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver excellent services for local families.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- A recognised childcare qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 and their families.
- Experience supporting vulnerable children and families.
- Experience working with children with SEND.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and early years development.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children and families
