- Ad hoc and pre-booked AM and PM shifts available
- Shunter roles available
- Fixed shift patterns available Friday to Monday PM
The role of HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance needs
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Following all safety protocols and procedures including PPE and health and safety regulations
The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC and Tacho cards
- Minimum 6 months previous HGV driving experience
- No more than 6 points and no DD/DR code convictions
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to carry out vehicle checks and report defects correctly
- Understanding of driver's hours and WTD legislation
- Able to comply with on-site health and safety requirements
