Please be aware that this vacancy may close before the closing date, so please apply early.
This role involves both clinical and administrative/house-keeping duties, with hydrotherapy and play being important parts of the work. You will be working closely with occupational therapists, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team, as well as physiotherapy colleagues.
The role includes assessing and progressing patients’ rehabilitation on the ward following orthopaedic/spinal surgery, both alongside qualified physiotherapists, and independently, as well as reviewing children in the outpatient setting as directed by the physiotherapists.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team working abilities are essential for this post. You will also have administration responsibilities, including stock taking and ordering, booking appointments and transport, therefore good organisational skills are also vital.
