Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring correct dosage and labeling.
- Assist with medication administration procedures, including preparing and packaging prescriptions for patient pickup or delivery.
- Engage with patients to provide clear instructions on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer basic questions to support their understanding.
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and transaction logs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for medication supplies as needed.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists to verify prescription details and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Uphold all safety protocols and confidentiality standards to protect patient information and ensure a secure pharmacy environment.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes and pharmacy software systems enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for accurate dispensing and recordkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills enable you to interact confidently with patients and healthcare professionals.

Pay: £26,437.00-£30,000.00 per year
