Duradent Dental Group is launching a modern, patient-first dental practice in the Midlands backed by an in-house laboratory that helps us deliver faster turnarounds and consistently high-quality dentistry. We’re looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to help lead the setup and day-to-day running of the practice from launch onwards. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves building strong teams, running smooth operations, and creating an exceptional patient experience. The role As Practice Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operational performance of the practice, supporting clinicians and staff, and ensuring patients receive a warm, efficient, high-standard experience every timeKey responsibilities
- Oversee daily practice operations, rotas, capacity planning, and workflow
- Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house and support team
- Manage patient journey standards: enquiries, bookings, recalls, complaints, and feedback
- Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, HTM 01-05 standards, and internal policies
- Drive performance: KPIs, utilisation, conversion of treatment plans, and patient retention
- Manage stock, suppliers, and relationships with external partners
- Support marketing/admin execution locally (reviews, community presence, internal campaigns)
- Own reporting and continuous improvement across systems and processes
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager (or strong deputy ready to step up)
- Strong knowledge of CQC compliance and dental practice operations
- Confident people leader — calm, organised, and great at setting standards
- Commercial mindset: understands diaries, KPIs, and how to grow a practice sustainably
- Excellent communication and patient-care instincts
- Comfortable implementing systems and improving processes
- Experience with practice management software (exact system can be trained)
