Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Residential Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end process of property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing services for our clients. Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Provide clear and professional legal advice to clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process.
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation with precision.
- Coordinate with all parties involved to ensure timely exchange of contracts and completion of transactions.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure all documentation complies with current legal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Use IT systems efficiently to track case progress, communicate updates, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills by liaising regularly with clients and colleagues to keep everyone informed and engaged.
- Prioritize tasks effectively through strong time management and organisational skills to meet strict deadlines in a busy environment.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with relevant experience in residential conveyancing for a minimum of 1 year.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
- Proficiency in IT systems used for case management and document drafting.
- Exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines consistently under pressure.
- Knowledge of current property law regulations and conveyancing procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
