Job Description
We are recruiting caring, reliable and professional Care Workers to support clients in their own homes across Bolton.
This is a rewarding community-based role in which you will help people maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing and toileting
- Preparing meals and supporting clients with medication
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with light household tasks
- Supporting clients with shopping and appointments where required
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Reporting changes in a client’s health or wellbeing to senior staff
- Following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and reliable access to a car – essential due to the nature of the role
- Vehicle insurance that covers work-related travel
- Right to work in the UK
- Good spoken and written English communication skills
- A caring, reliable and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check
