The Role
This isn’t just a driving job; it’s a precision operation. You will be responsible for a dedicated milk round of up to 500 customers, ensuring every bottle is exactly where it needs to be.
Your Shift (7:00 PM – 6:00 AM) Subject to area and conditions:
- Prepare: Arrive at the depot, perform vehicle safety checks, and sync your handheld delivery device.
- Load: Check your refrigerated stock and load your 3.5t drop-side van efficiently.
- Deliver: Navigate your North East route, delivering to residential and commercial customers with care and silence.
- Return: Head back to the depot, unload empty glass bottles for recycling, and manage your end-of-shift stock.

What You’ll Need
- Physical Stamina: You’ll be lifting crates and walking significant distances. It’s demanding, but rewarding.
- Driving Skills: A full UK Driving License and confidence handling a 3.5t drop-side van.
- The "Night Owl" Mindset: Reliability is key—our customers rely on their milk being there when they wake up.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to use an electronic handheld device to track deliveries and stock.
- Respectful Manner: Since you’ll be in residential areas at night, being "quiet as a mouse" is a must.

4 Nights Per Week:
- Sunday Evening
- Monday Evening
- Wednesday Evening
- Thursday Evening
- (Average hours: 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM) subject to area and conditions

Requirements
- Experience: 1 year of delivery driving preferred (but not essential if you have the right attitude).
- Language: Fluent English (Required).
- Right to Work: Must be authorised to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving license
