Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair
- Take orders from guests efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and stored properly
- Verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and manage tabs responsibly
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety within the venue
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours, managing time effectively to meet guest needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Experience in bartending or serving drinks is a plus, demonstrating confidence in handling beverages and customer interactions
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple orders efficiently during peak times
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude that energizes the team and guests alike
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly around the bar area, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
