Ouch Learning and Development provide modern, cost-effective, behaviour-based health, safety, wellbeing and business training. We are looking for an experienced administration assistant on a full-time basis to join our team based in Wimborne.
Being part of a small team, and due to the nature if the business, we are looking for someone who can be flexible when required. This could include altering working hours slightly when needed.
The position will be based on 37.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
We have 4 dogs in our office, so you will need to be a real dog lover to be part of the team.
Job specification
· To support our trainers by preparing all course paperwork and materials
· Maintain stock levels of course materials
· Register courses with external awarding bodies
· Manage the booking process of training courses, including ensuring all pre-course documentation is completed by the client
· Maintaining an overview of the bookings database
· Process incoming completed trainer paperwork and generate certificates for delegates
· Administration of completed courses with external awarding bodies
· Manage course information advertised on third party websites
· Liaising with trainers to arrange equipment collections in preparation for upcoming courses
· General office administration duties such as photocopying, filing, stationery orders
· Updating the company database with client and course information
· Preparation and organisation of our training room facilities at the end of each day
· Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email
· Work collaboratively with the team on a rota to manage food shopping for the business and training space
Essential skills:
· Excellent communication skills including a professional and personable telephone manner
· Experience in previous administrative roles
· Ability to manage own workload
· A keen eye for detail and able to spot potential areas for errors to occur
· Highly organised with a high level of accuracy
· Willing to learn and develop own skills
