Boardwalk Social is an independent café group with two sites on the North Down coast — Bangor and Donaghadee. Part of the Third Space Leisure family, we're known for quality food, great coffee and a genuine community feel. We're growing fast and we want the right people to grow with us.
The Role
We're looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You'll take ownership of your section, work with quality ingredients, and help us deliver food that people genuinely look forward to — every day, every service.
This is a hands-on role in a busy, fast-paced kitchen. You'll be working alongside a close-knit team that takes real pride in what they put on the plate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running your section to a consistently high standard during service
- Preparing and producing dishes in line with TSL recipes and specifications
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Supporting senior chefs and helping develop junior team members
- Contributing ideas and enthusiasm to a team that genuinely cares about the food it makes
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up)
- A solid understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene (Level 2 minimum)
- Someone who takes pride in consistency — every plate, every time
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Passion for quality, fresh food and continuous improvement
