Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and giving accurate change
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and uphold quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met consistently
- Ability to serve customers with friendliness, professionalism, and efficiency
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
