Responsibilities:
- To pro-actively manage the day-to-day restaurant and bar dining operation in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
- To manage shifts whilst on duty.
- To ensure service standards are maintained.
- To empower team to be able to handle all positive and negative guest feedback and report to Restaurant Manager.
- To undertake to be responsible for cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant & bar
- To carry out quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional manner.
- To ensure company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained within the department.
- To ensure the team are correctly uniformed, in line with company standards and understand the importance of personal hygiene.
- To ensure team are punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues always.
- To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the establishment.
- Passion for the hospitality industry.
- Excellent product knowledge of food and drink.
- Excellent organisational skills.
