We are currently on the lookout for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team at our branch in Billingham. This is a physical and hands-on role where you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse and yard duties – from picking orders for customers, as well as loading and unloading company, customer and supplier vehicles. This is a customer-facing role, where you will be expected to provide an excellent service whilst contributing to the efficient running of our logistics operations.

CANDIDATE: Due to the fast-paced environment, the successful candidate needs to be willing to work well under pressure and have recent experience of driving a forklift truck. They must also be reliable with good organisational skills and be comfortable assisting customers. Additionally, they also need to have the right attitude, being willing to help and go that extra mile.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working in a builders merchants. However, having good product knowledge on a range of building materials and experience of working in a warehouse/yard environment would be an advantage.
