Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our transport team delivering bagged aggregate from our site in Bootle Liverpool.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations all over the UK. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Duties
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and compliance.
Licences/Certifications
- Valid commercial Class 1 driving licence
- Driver CPC required
- Digi Card required
