Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Night Collection Driver to join our Banbury operation.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role combining:
- Yard shunting and trailer movements
- Local deliveries and collections
- Trailer swaps and vehicle management
- Supporting night warehouse operations when required
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our night operation runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Shunting trailers safely around the yard and loading areas
- Completing local drop & swap collections in the Banbury area
- Managing trailer locations and ensuring equipment is positioned correctly for loading
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Supporting warehouse loading/unloading activities where required
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism
- Ensuring all PDA, transport and operational procedures are followed correctly
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Full Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous container, shunting or trunking experience preferred
- Good reversing and trailer handling skills
- A flexible, can-do attitude
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
- Ability to work independently during night operations
